Nathaniel Tobey continued to keep a tavern as late as 1844.
Matthew Bull had a tavern license as late as '44. The Bull Tavern was kept up over 25 years. Josiah Cass built and first opened it about 1816.

Martin Rich, the brother of Captain Rich was living in 1832 and owned a farm near Caroline Centre of 36 acres (nephew of Captain Rich being a son of Joel Rich who died in 1820)
