Abner Beers was the father of Nathan Beers and the latter was the father of Levy C. Beers now living at Danby aged 74. Abner was likewise the father of Dr. Lewis Beers, the grandfather of E. L. B. Curtis.

Bartholomew Green sold the present Bowman farm to Peter L. Delamater, February 8, 1839 for $7000. Possession given May 1st.
John Bush sold the Freeland farm (the homestead portion of which is now owned by the June estate) to William W and Myron Smith July 13, 1839. Articles recite that Freeland had sold this farm to Jacob Robison and the latter to Bush. Farm contained 231 acres from which was excepted 53 acres sold to C.
